The Hexorcist
Turns a file's hard-coded colours into variables, with Light and Dark modes.
What it does
The Hexorcist scans a frame, a page or a whole file for every fill, stroke, text colour, gradient and shadow. It merges near-identical colours, gives each one a role name such as text/secondary with the reason it was chosen, and suggests dark values.
It checks every text and icon pair against WCAG AA or AAA in both modes, and one click moves a failing colour to the closest one that passes. Then it builds the variables and connects every layer to them.
Why I built it
Every file has its ghosts, like a hundred near-identical greys. I kept meeting them, and untangling them by hand is the same slow job every time, so I built something to do it.
One decision
No AI. It follows rules, and every suggestion comes with its reason. Nothing changes until you approve the plan, one Undo reverses the whole build, and the plugin has no network access, so nothing leaves your file.
